PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet separation apparatus separating a sheet rotatably supported by a drum frame 71 from a photoreceptor drum 21 rotating in contact with the sheet, configured to prevent assembling error, while improving sheet conveyance performance with an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A sheet separation apparatus includes a fixed plate 72 to be detachably fixed to a drum frame 71, a first assembly 81 formed by causing a holder 100 with engagement sections 103, 104 to hold a separation pawl 92 and a guide member 91, and a second assembly 82 formed by causing the holder 100 to hold only the guide member 91. The drum frame 71 and the fixed plate 72 include assembly fixing sections 71c, 72a, respectively, each having engaged sections to be engaged with the engagement sections 103, 104 of the holder 100. |
