<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for an escalator in which possibility of a passenger's getting hurt is lowered at the time of falling down, being manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: There are provided a tread surface on which a passenger rides, a riser part which has a bend part to hold the tread surface horizontally, and a cleat containing a mountain part that is provided at a corner part which connects an end part of the tread surface to an upper end part of the riser part, with a height being equal to the tread surface, formed in protruding shape, and at least one part formed by first material, and a soft part which is provided at a tip end part in the direction of the tread surface of the mountain part, being formed by second material that is softer than the first material.</p> |
