<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to present, if a user senses that the effect of upgrade is unclear, the user the effect by photographing after altering the setting of an imaging apparatus so that the effect is emphasized.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a re-configurable circuit part that performs signal processing for an image signal acquired by converting, by use of an imager, a subject image formed by an image forming optical system, the content of the processing being alterable; and a system control section that controls the contents of the processing in the re-configurable circuit part on the basis of upgrade information acquired from outside. An image acquired by signal processing the image signal by use of a processing content after upgrade, and an image acquired by signal processing the image signal by use of a processing content before the upgrade are shown on a display part. If a user senses that the effect of the upgrade is not clear, photographing is carried out after control setting for the imaging apparatus is altered so that the effect of the upgrade is more emphasized. Then, the different effect is presented.</p> |
