<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a sidewall, which can improve fuel efficiency, fracture strength, flex crack resistance, steering stability and processability in a well-balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire having a sidewall manufactured by using the composition.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a sidewall composed of the following rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises a rubber component, silica (A) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 100 m/g or less, and silica (B) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 180 m/g or more, in which the content of a conjugated diene polymer obtained by allowing an alkoxysilane compound to react with one end of a copolymer having a specific monomer unit is 5 mass% or more in 100 mass% of the rubber component; the total content of the silica (A) and (B) is 5 to 150 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and each content of the silica (A) and (B) satisfies (content of silica (A))×0.2≤(content of silica (B))≤(content of silica (A))×6.5.</p> |
