PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna device capable of preventing deterioration of performance due to mechanical vibrations transmitted.SOLUTION: The array antenna device has plural antenna elements for capturing high frequency signals. The array antenna device also has a cooling unit; a receiving part; an interface; and a control section. The cooling unit is provided to each of the plural antenna elements and vibrates in a unique vibration pattern. The receiving part is sealed within a vacuum vessel and is cooled by the cooling unit. The interface transmits the high frequency signal from the antenna elements to the receiving part via a gap formed in the vacuum vessel. The control section controls an initial phase of the vibration pattern of the cooling unit.
