<p>The device i.e. latching relay (10), has a microcontroller (16) supplied with a control signal and connected with a switching relay (24). Switching contacts (26, 27) are connected between an alternating voltage connection (30) and a load connection (32). A neutral conductor connection (34) is connected to a neutral conductor of an alternating voltage system. The microcontroller controls the switching relay based on a zero-point of a measurement current flowing from the alternating voltage connection to the neutral connection when the neutral connection is connected with the conductor.</p> |
