<p>The channel storage system has one or multiple channels (2) with guide rails (5), a control unit and a shuttle (1) with an intrinsically safe vehicle controller. The vehicle controller also has a control unit for communicating with the former control unit. The marking units are provided along the channels. The shuttle comprises sensors for the orientation of the shuttle within the channel on the basis of the marking unit. An independent claim is included for a method for crash secured operation of a shuttle in a channel storage system.</p> |
