PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric type vibration sensor having even higher sensitivity to vibration sound or the like caused by water leakage of a synthetic resin pipe.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric type vibration sensor 1 comprises a laminate 12 formed such that film-like piezoelectric elements 21 and 22 and a reinforcement material 23 are laminated. In the vibration sensor, bending stress due to vibration acts on the laminate 12, which thus generates an electric signal from the piezoelectric elements 21 and 22. The reinforcement material 23 is provided with recesses (grooves) for furthering bending deformation. The reinforcement material 23 is formed of metal, and the film-like piezoelectric elements 21 and 22 are formed of polymeric material. |
