PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably retain liquid discharge performance by preventing bubble suction from a nozzle at the start of liquid circulation for removing bubbles or foreign matter coming to be mixed in a liquid.SOLUTION: An inkjet head in an embodiment comprises: a liquid discharge head discharging a liquid from a discharge part; a tank housing the liquid; a circularly conveying part provided with a first conveying part for conveying the liquid from the tank to the liquid discharge head and a second conveying part for conveying the liquid from the liquid discharge head to the tank; a driving part circulating the liquid in the circularly conveying part; and a control part controlling the driving part, when the circulation of the liquid is started at the circularly conveying part, so as to maintain the inside of the liquid discharge head to be in a negative pressure with respect to the atmospheric pressure and also to start the circulation of the liquid after pressurizing the inside of the liquid discharge head. |
