PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating structure capable of cooling a heat source of plant facilities using seawater without installing additional facilities for pumping up the seawater in the plant facilities disposed above a sea level as essential elements.SOLUTION: There is provided a floating structure 100 including: an upstream channel 70 for circulating seawater flowing into the upstream channel 70 from a seawater inlet 10; a downstream channel 80 for circulating the seawater flowing from the upstream channel 70 into the downstream channel 80 and introducing the seawater to a seawater outlet 20; a coupling channel 90 for coupling the upstream channel 70 to the downstream channel 80; and a heat exchanger 30 provided in the coupling channel 90 and for cooling a heat source of plant facilities using the seawater. The heat exchanger 30 is arranged above an inlet position at which the seawater flows from the upstream channel 80 into the coupling channel 90, and below an outlet position at which the seawater flows out from the coupling channel 90 into the downstream channel 80. |
