PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage a large number of bills using a serial number.SOLUTION: A bill management system which manages a bill includes: a storage part which stores a serial number of a plurality of bill in association with a managing code; a reading part which reads the managing code attached to the plurality of bills and storage container ID attached to a bill storage container storing the plurality of bills; and a bill management part which manages the managing code in association with the storage container ID read by the reading part.
