<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double raschel warp-knitted fabric which does not cause curl at the end of the knitted fabric and does not require the terminal processing of the knitted fabric.SOLUTION: A double raschel warp-knitted fabric (10) of the present invention includes a base knitted part (11) and a double knitted part (12a, 12b). The double knitted part (12a, 12b) is present at least at one end in a direction orthogonal to the knitting direction of the base knitted part (11). The double knitted part is knitted by using a chain stitch yarn, a warp insertion yarn and a jacquard texture yarn such that the front and back sides thereof are integrated. The warp insertion yarn is thicker than each of the chain stitch yarn and the jacquard texture yarn. As a result, there can be provided the double raschel warp-knitted fabric in which curl at the end part of the knitted fabric is prevented, and which does not require the terminal processing of the knitted fabric. When the knitted fabric is applied, for example, to shorts as underwear for women, it does not require the folding processing of a waist part and does not cause an underwear line to appear, thereby giving a design advantage. Further, when an elastic yarn is used as the warp insertion yarn, the elongation and power of the elastic yarn can improve wearing comfort in the waist part in addition to the design advantage.</p> |
