<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a space frame structure of a vehicle which can increase a collision energy which is absorbed by a connection part for connecting plural frame parts when a vehicle collides with an object.SOLUTION: At the time of a lateral collision, a rocker 38 is pressed inside a vehicle by another vehicle and a connection member 50 is sandwiched between a cross member 86 and the other vehicle and is pressed in a vehicle width direction. A honeycomb structure, which is directed in a vehicle vertical direction, is formed in the connection member 50. Consequently, when the connection member 50 is pressed in the vehicle width direction, a space in the honeycomb structure is distorted, whereby the honeycomb structure is buckled. Thus, the connection member 50 absorbs a collision energy.</p> |
