PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding which can prevent an adhesive layer from being left in a mold even when a sheet body is fixed to a side surface of a cavity of a mold through an adhesive layer and its production method.SOLUTION: An insert molding is insert-molded with a sheet body 3 along the surface of a resin-made molding. An adhesive layer 4 is provided on the surface of the sheet body 3. The bond strength between the adhesive layer 4 and the sheet body 3 is higher than the adhesive strength of the surface of the adhesive layer 4.
