The present invention relates to an electronic device and to a control method thereof. The electronic device to install a touch pane on the rear side includes: a touch screen; and a control unit which classifies multiple items into a first item group including detailed information about the item and a second item group excluding the detailed information, and displays the first item group and the second item group to be separated. According to the present invention, the present invention can arrange the multiple items displayed on the touch screen based on rear side touch input.
