<p>According to the present invention, a vernier caliper includes a caliper body having a main scale and a vernier installed to be slid to the main scale; and a contact means provided to the main scale or a jaw of the vernier to correspond to a shape of the measurement portion of an object to be measured. Accordingly, the present invention includes the contact means installed to the main scale or the jaw of the vernier to correspond to the shape of the measurement portion of the object to be measured in order to enable the measurement and the precise measurement without errors when measuring the object having the measurement portion which is hard to be measured or cannot be measured by the main scale or the jaw of the vernier. More specifically, the contact means has a plurality of anvils to be replaced in a holder assembled to a contact part of the jaw in accordance to the shape of the measurement portion of the object to be measured in order to smoothly and precisely measure an outer diameter or an inner diameter of the object to be measured having the measurement portion which is hard to be measured or cannot be measured.</p> |
