In one example, an access terminal with a respective class designation may receive a message including a plurality of periodic registration schedules, where at least one registration schedule is associated with an access terminal class. In one example, a network node can obtain a plurality of periodic registration schedules, with at least one registration schedule associated with an access terminal class.
