PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for removal of a virgin metal in the throat of a converter which is attached stably to a to-blown lance and prevents detachment from the to-blown lance due to the pressure of oxygen gas during work of removing the virgin metal in the throat.SOLUTION: A jig 100 for removal of a virgin metal in the throat of a converter includes a plurality of attachment members 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 consisting of cylindrical parts inserted each into a plurality of nozzle holes of a top-blown lance and flange parts provided at one end of the cylindrical parts. The flange parts have a hollow part communicating with a corresponding cylindrical part and an opening which communicates with the hollow part and is located at the outer peripheral side of the to-blown lance in an attached state. The jig 100 has additionally a restriction implement which restricts adjacent flanges in an attached state to prevent omission of the cylindrical parts. |
