<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus advantageous in correcting defective pixel of a divided pixel.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has: an imaging element (103) having unit pixels (200) each of which is provided with a single microlens (1020) and consists of a plurality of photoelectric conversion sections (201); storage means (106a) for storing a photoelectric conversion section having a defect as a defective pixel out of the photoelectric conversion sections; correction means (106) for correcting the defective pixel on the basis of information of the defective pixel stored in the storage means. The correction means switches a first defective pixel correction method in which the defective pixel is corrected by an output signal from the photoelectric conversion section, which is included in a second unit pixel different from a first unit pixel including the defective pixel, corresponding to an imaging condition of the imaging apparatus, and a second defective pixel correction method in which the defective pixel is corrected by an output signal from the photoelectric conversion section different from the defective pixel in the photoelectric conversion section included in the first unit pixel.</p> |
