<p>According to the present invention, a method for reducing connection time to a website in a terminal comprises the steps of: allowing a domain name system (DNS) information collecting server to connect to a DNS server at predetermined time intervals to perform DNS query for predetermined at least one host name, and to obtain at least one IP address information corresponding to the host name; allowing the DNS information collecting server to transmit an IP address list including the obtained IP address information to a terminal; allowing the terminal to generate a hosts file based on the received IP address list or update a stored hosts file; and allowing the terminal to search for an IP address corresponding to an input host name with reference to the IP address list recorded in the hosts file when a website connection request through an input of the host name is received from a user; and allowing the terminal to connect to the website through the searched IP address.</p> |
