PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the usability of collective washing and to attain the convenience of both separate washing and collective washing.SOLUTION: The drum-type washing machine includes: substantially cylindrical drums 4a, 4b that are rotatably provided in an outer tub 1 and communicate with the outer tub through water passing pores 15a, 15b, 17a, 17b; a motor 19 for rotatably driving the drum; water supply means 23a, 23b for supplying washing water into the outer tub; water discharge means 13 for discharging washing water in the outer tub to the outside of a housing 2; water storage parts 6a, 6b provided on a bottom of the outer tub; a partition part 7 for dividing the water storage part into several parts in a rotation axis 5 direction of the drum; water supply passages 24a, 24b for connecting the water storage part and an upper part of the outer tub so that they communicate with each other; and pumps 26a, 26b for circulating washing water in the water storage parts into the drums through the water supply passages. Peripheral wall parts 14a, 14b of the drums 4a, 4b are arranged above the partition part 7. The rated water level of washing water stored in the water storage parts 6a, 6b is set below an upper end part of the partition part 7. |
