PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method that improve accuracy of a measured parameter at a near value of zero of a weight change ratio of a sample and make the accuracy of the measured parameter thereat less susceptible when determining a kinetic parameter of the sample via thermogravimetry.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a heating furnace 3 that heats a sample 1 according to a modulated temperature program including temperature amplitude and a modulation period; detection means for detecting a thermogravimetric signal corresponding to a weight of the sample; determination means for determining a first derivative of the thermogravimetric signal when the weight of the sample 1 changes as a result of the sample 1 being heated according to the temperature program, and amplitude of the first derivative; and means for determining a kinetic parameter of the sample 1 using te temperature, the temperature amplitude, the derivative of the thermogravimetric signal and the amplitude of the first derivative, but not using a logarithm of a non-exponential derived from the first derivative of the thermogravimetric signal. |
