<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit signals or information between locomotives cascaded without determining a master.SOLUTION: A cascade controller of this embodiment comprises a forward transmission part, a rearward transmission part, and a transmission line switching part. The forward transmission part establishes synchronism on the basis of synchronous signals that are synchronous signals of another rolling stock connected forward and an own rolling stock with differences in the number of pulses with rolling stocks, receives identifying information of the other rolling stock, and transmits identifying information of the own rolling stock to the other rolling stock. The rearward transmission part establishes synchronism on the basis of synchronous signals that are synchronous signals of another rolling stock connected rearward and an own rolling stock with differences in the number of pulses with rolling stocks, receives identifying information of another rolling stock, and transmits identifying information of the own rolling stock to the other rolling stock. After the forward transmission part and the rearward transmission part transmit identifying information of the own rolling stock, the transmission line switching part switches connection of transmission lines from a cut-off state to a connection state with respect to another rolling stock connected forward and rolling stock connected rearward.</p> |
