PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasing device for actuation of a door open travel protective device which requires no installation space for a release operation part.SOLUTION: An elevator device containing a brake operation confirmation device 6 and a door open travel protective device 7 is provided with a releasing device for actuation of the door open travel protective device 7. The releasing device includes a release control part and a release operation part. The release operation part also acts as an operation part 62 for confirming brake operation which the brake operation confirmation device 6 has. By the operation part for confirming brake operation 62 acting as the release operation part being operated by a predetermined operation, the release control part releases operation by the door open travel protective device 7.
