<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of properly correcting skew of a sheet without unnecessarily reducing productivity.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder 140 has: a pre-registration roller 142 to which a tip part of a sheet P to be conveyed is butted to correct skew of the sheet P, and to convey the sheet P; a registration roller 143 which is arranged on a downstream of the pre-registration roller 142, to which the tip part of the sheet P to be conveyed by the pre-registration roller 142 is butted to correct the skew of the sheet P, and to convey the sheet P; skew detection sensors 148a and 148b which detect an amount of skew of the sheet P to be conveyed; and a CPU 201 which controls them, in which the CPU 201 performs control so as to correct the skew of the sheet P by using either of the pre-registration roller 142 or the registration roller 143 when the amount of skew detected by skew amount detection means 148 is a reference amount of skew (T_limit) or less.</p> |
