<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of reducing impact when a passenger is inverted, capable of preventing turning-up which occurs on an entrance cover such as a carpet and a mat for preventing trip of a passenger, capable of maintaining appearance of a surface of an entrance plate, and having an entrance plate capable of exhibiting a slip resistance effect of the entrance plate surface.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor comprises an impact absorption part 10 formed of a soft material such as a rubber or an elastomer on an L-shaped panel 4b of a machine casing 4 mounting an entrance plate 2. When a passenger is inverted on the entrance plate 2, the impact absorption part 10 deforms for reducing impact applied to the passenger from the entrance plate 2.</p> |
