The present invention relates to a method for providing quiz game service at a mobile robot and a mobile robot for the same. The method for providing quiz game service to a plurality of users at a mobile robot according to the present invention comprises: a first question outputting step for outputting a question on a screen at a location where the screen is exposed to a question explainer; a right answer checking step for checking whether a right answer voice is recognized with regard to the question which is being outputted; a location recognition step for reselecting a user who made the right answer voice as a question explainer when the right answer voice is recognized as a result of the checking step and recognizing the location of the reselected question explainer; a moving step for moving to a location spaced apart at a regular distance from the recognized location so that the screen is exposed to the reselected question explainer; and a next question outputting step for outputting a next question on the screen in the moved location.
