PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azo compound excellent in dissolubility for use in inkjet ink, and an oil or aqueous dye composition thereof.SOLUTION: A new azo compound is obtained by condensation reaction of 2 molecules of an azo compound represented by the formula (4) with 1 molecule of a corresponding chromium compound or cobalt compound to obtain a compound, which is finally reacted with a compound having a tetra (1 to 4 carbon alkyl ) ammonium ion. |
