PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new step of an escalator device that facilitates fixing of a demarcation to an end surface of a step-board reinforcing plate so as to improve workability.SOLUTION: An expanded and deformed part that extends downward and has an expanded and deformed hole therein is formed at a base part of a demarcation, the expanded and deformed part is inserted through a fixing hole formed in a step-board reinforcing plate and a deforming pin is inserted into the expanded and deformed hole of the expanded and deformed part so that an outer peripheral surface of the expanded and deformed part is expanded and then fixed to the fixing hole of the step-board reinforcing plate. This allows the size of the expanded and deformed part to be smaller than the fixing hole, so that even if there are variations in positions of the fixing hole and the expanded and deformed part, the expanded and deformed part can be easily inserted through the fixing hole, and in this state, the fixing hole and the expanded and deformed part can be fixed by expanding the outer periphery of the expanded and deformed part, therefore facilitating the fixing work so as to improve workability. |
