PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller mechanism, a paper sheets accumulating delivery device and a paper sheets processing method which do not require a mechanism for moving an impeller and therefore can reduce a cost, and makes a retreating space for the impeller unnecessary and therefore can miniaturize the device.SOLUTION: An impeller mechanism 30 includes: an impeller 32 which is disposed near an accumulation part 26 and is provided with a plurality of blades 32a having flexibility on an outer circumferential surface of the accumulation part 26; and a blade guide member which is disposed near the impeller 32 and performs guide of the blades 32a of the impeller 32. The blade guide member performs guide of the blades 32a of the impeller 32 such that when the impeller 32 rotates in a receiving direction of paper sheets to the accumulation part 26, the blades 32a of the impeller 32 advance to a carriage path (for example, an inner carriage path 36) and when the impeller 32 rotates in a delivery direction of the paper sheets from the accumulation part 26, the blades 32a of the impeller 32 retreat from the carriage path. |
