PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method for a steel tower supported stack, capable of easily and safely demolishing the steel tower supported stack with an elevator installed without using a large crane.SOLUTION: A demolition method for a steel tower supported stack includes the steps of: installing small jacks 5a-5c in predetermined height positions of a steel tower 4; installing large jacks 6 for supporting a stack shell 1 in the lower part of the steel tower 4 by using the small jacks; constructing demolition stages 7a-7c in predetermined height positions of the steel tower 4; fixing and temporarily hanging an upper part of the steel tower 4 and an upper part of an elevator shaft 2 to an upper part of the stack shell 1; cutting lower parts of the steel tower 4 and the elevator shaft 2 on the demolition stages; putting the lower parts of the cut steel tower 4 and the elevator shaft 2 into the elevator shaft 2 by the small jacks 5a, 5b and removing them; cutting a lower part of the stack shell 1 supported by the large jacks 6 and removing it; and hanging down the stack shell 1 by the large jacks 6. |
