PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold support system for hollow glass product molding machine that can guarantee a temporally accurate and stable array of molds during a long-time, high-processing-speed operation of a molding machine.SOLUTION: A mold support system includes a support structure, and first and second carriages 4 fitted slidably to first and second rods 14, 16 thereof. The first and second carriages 4 are fitted slidably to a third rod 18 of the support structure that both the carriages use in common, and support first and second mold support arms respectively. The mold support system includes means of controlling mutual displacement of the first and second carriages 4. The first and second carriages 4 have a first tubular part which engages the first and second rods 14, 16 respectively through first slide means, and a second tubular part 4B which engages the third rod 18 through second slide means. |
