PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an angle detector including a plurality of rotation measuring instruments for performing interpolation so as to lessen influence on a control system in a rear stage in a case of switching a measurement signal of one of the rotation measuring instrument to that of the other rotation measuring instrument when abnormality occurs to the one rotation measuring instrument.SOLUTION: An angle detector includes: first and second rotation measuring instruments 12A, 13A and 12B, 13B; abnormal detection units 18 and 19 detecting occurrence of abnormality to the first and second rotation measuring instruments 12A, 13A and 12B, 13B; and a switching interpolation unit 40 that selects one pair of a first pair including a first angle signal R1 and a first angular velocity signal ω1 and a second pair including a second angle signal R2 and a second angular velocity signal ω2, that outputs the first angle signal R1 and the first angular velocity signal ω1 if the first rotation measuring instrument is normal, and that switches an output to the second angle signal R2 and the second angular velocity signal ω2 while performing interpolation so as to gradually reduce a difference between the first angle signal R1 and the second angle signal R2 if abnormality occurs to the first rotation measuring instrument and the second rotation measuring instrument is normal. |
