PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a constant viscosity of a gelled ionomer solution to be produced.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for producing ionomer solution for use in formation of a catalyst electrode for fuel cell includes an inner container 30 into which a mixture material of ionomer and a solvent is fed, and an outer container 20 in which the inner container 30 is housed. The outer container 20 includes a heater 25 for heating. The trunk 31 of the inner container 30 and the trunk 21 of the outer container 20 have a taper shape becoming thinner gradually toward the bottoms 22, 32, respectively. The trunk 31 of the inner container 30 and the trunk 21 of the outer container 20 come into contact with each other. A clearance S is formed between the bottom 32 of the inner container 30 and the bottom 22 of the outer container 20. |
