<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to properly keep the amount of toner to be supplied to a developing apparatus, in consideration of heat stress at the end and start of image formation.SOLUTION: A control unit 5 supplies toner from a toner container 39 to a developing apparatus 34, on the basis of a value of a toner concentration sensor 67 for detecting permeability of developer in the developing apparatus 34, so that the concentration of the toner in the developing apparatus 34 is equal to a reference concentration value M1. The control unit 5 acquires temperatures from an external temperature sensor 56 and an internal temperature sensor 58 at the end of image formation, to calculate a first differential value H1 thereof. The control unit 5 acquires temperatures from the external temperature sensor 56 and the internal temperature sensor 58 at the start of image formation, to calculate a second differential value H2. The control unit 5 corrects the reference concentration value M1 on the basis of a third differential value H3 obtained from the first and second differential values H1 and H2.</p> |
