<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping device, operable as design over a long period, and capable of easily executing installation work, by efficiently checking damage and intrusion of wind-rain to the inside, by smoothly sliding a header cover by reducing friction, when left-right buildings swingingly move in the different directions by an earthquake.SOLUTION: The coping device 1 is composed of a coping cover 6 installed via a coping cover installing device for covering a part between parapets of the left-right buildings 3 or between an outer wall surface of one building and the parapet of the other building and the header cover 8 installed so as to cover both end parts of this coping cover. The coping device is constituted of a roller-using slide rail or a large number of rollers interposed so as to slide the header cover to the outside from an end part of the coping cover, a slipping-out preventive member for preventing the header cover from slipping out of the coping cover and a header cover energizing device 11 for energizing so that a cover plate 10 of the header cover always abuts on the end part of the coping cover.</p> |
