<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection encoder device quite small in size and quite high in resolution.SOLUTION: A reflection encoder device includes: a semiconductor laser light source 2; a collimator lens 9 that transforms a linearly polarized luminous flux 7 emitted from the semiconductor laser light source 2 to a parallel luminous flux 8; a prism 11 that changes an angle of a parallel luminous flux 10 from the collimator lens 9 to a predetermined angle and that irradiates a projection surface of a scale reflector plate 12 with the parallel luminous flux 10; a mask 14 having a slit width identical to that of a projection pattern of a parallel luminous flux 13 reflected by the scale reflector plate 12; and light-receiving elements 3 and 4 on which a parallel luminous flux 15 from the mask 14 is incident and projected.</p> |
