The present invention relates to an objective management service server and a controlling method thereof and, more specifically, to an objective management service server for providing an objective management service and a controlling method thereof which are able to encourage a user to achieve an objective by enabling multiple users to mutually share a common objective. The objective management service server providing an objective management service to a user by being linked with a terminal of the user includes: a communication unit which communicates with the terminal; an objective management unit which records and manages information of the objective of the user; and a control unit which controls the communication unit and the objective management unit. The objective management unit manages information of a common objective by converting information of an objective into information of the common objective of multiple users or generating the information of the common objective of the multiple users based on the information of the objective when receiving an input signal which adds information of common objective-practicing participants including information of other users, who want to share the objective, to the information of the objective. The control unit transmits or shares information of a common objective and information of whether the common objective is achieved or not to multiple terminals.
