The present invention relates to a method for configuring the operation environment of a home network visited by a user, and to an apparatus for the same. According to the present invention, the method for configuring the operation environment of a home network is performed by a home network service server and comprises: a step of obtaining the device list of a second home network visited by a user; a step of verifying whether a device, which is compatible with a device installed in a first home network registered by the user, exists in the obtained device list of the second home network; a step of extracting an operation image compatible with the device of the second home network from operation images of the device installed in the first home network, if the compatible device exists as a result of the verification; and a step of transmitting the extracted operation image to the second home network, and enabling the transmitted operation image to be installed in the device of the second home network, which is compatible with the device of the first home network. |
