The present invention relates to a method, a system, and a computer program product to determine a timing of auditing a transaction. The auditing rules optimizer system receives data of a transaction performed by a first company including a travel product provided by a second company. The transaction can be classified by types of the transaction and can be determined to audit the transaction or not based on the transaction type. The system is able to determine a predicted value for taking an action to block a transaction and/or recover a discordance. The system is able to determine an action to take based on the predicted value. An auditing can be performed for an inter-airline bill issue between an issuing airline and a flight airline and in a transaction by a travel agency. In each case, experience data of a previous auditing period can be used to control a parameter used to identify a transaction to be audited and determine a predicted value of an auditing action. |
