<p>The present invention relates to a composition for promoting pregnancy and a composition for preventing or treating infertility containing a polysaccharide-removed Paeonia lactiflora extract as an active ingredient. The polysaccharide-removed Paeonia lactiflora extract of the present invention has fewer side effects in body, induces expression of leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) involved in combination of a fertilized egg into the inside skin of womb and increases binding power between a placental cell and an embryo cell, and is effective in inducing implantation of the fertilized egg. Accordingly, the extract can promote fertilization and can be used as a composition for promoting pregnancy such as a pregnancy aid which can prevent and treat infertility.</p> |
