Provided are an apparatus and a method for estimating a biomarker. An apparatus for estimating a biomarker may calculate the contact area of an electrode through a contact area calculation part, calculate the cross section of part of a body wound by the electrode through a cross section calculation part, use the cross section of part of the body and the contact area calculated by an ion concentration correction part, correct the concentration of ions in the body measured with a bio current, and measure a biomarker based on the ion concentration in the body corrected by a measurement part.
