Free first end (22, 24) of at least one strip (18, 20) is arranged in groove (28) made in steering wheel main part (14). Free second end (32, 34) of at least one strip (18, 20) is arranged in groove (36) made in steering wheel main part (14). Free ends (22, 24) of both strips (18, 20) are located in common first groove (28) and have at least decorative seam (44, 46) made with the help of machine prior to fitting in said groove (28).
