The present invention relates to a bidet with an instantaneous hot water function wherein a sheath heater generates heat by power supplied in accordance with control of a control unit while an aluminum heating member is heated by the generated heat to convert water supplied from a water faucet into hot water while jetting the water through a nozzle to wash an anus or a partial area of a user, and the water from the water faucet is supplied to the heating member to rapidly cool the heating member up to a room temperature while the power supply to the sheath heater is stopped in accordance with the control of the control unit in order to stably use the bidet; and a method of controlling the same. The bidet with an instantaneous hot water function includes a sheath heater generating heat in accordance with control of a control unit; a heating member surrounding the sheath heater, and receiving the heat generated in the sheath heater to convert water in a flow passage into hot water; a housing mounted on the heating member to accommodate the flow passage, and having a supply hole and a discharge hole respectively connected to a front end portion and a rear end portion of the flow passage penetrated; a temperature sensor measuring the temperatures of the hot water discharged through a through-hole be connected and the heating member while being positioned on the discharge hole to be sunk in the flow passage in order to supply power to the sheath heater and stop the supply in accordance with the control of the control unit; a mounting member mounted on the housing to enable the discharge hole a through-hole be connected while accommodating the temperature sensor; a guide member mounted on the mounting member to accommodate the through-hole in order to guide hot water supply or discharge air; and a check valve mounted between the guide member and the mounting member to supply hot water and prevent backflow while opening and closing the through-hole.
