The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device capable of making a product slim, reducing manufacturing costs, and minimizing optical loss, and an assembling method thereof. The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a guide panel seated with the liquid crystal panel; an FPCB bonded to a top surface of one side of the liquid crystal panel, bent to surround side surfaces and a rear surface of the guide panel, and attached to the rear surface of the guide panel; a light guide plate disposed on a bottom part of the liquid crystal panel; an LED array mounted on the FPCB, and disposed to correspond to a side surface of the light guide plate; a plurality of fixed grooves formed to have specific intervals on the rear surface of the guide panel; fixed holes formed in the FPCB to correspond to the fixed grooves, respectively, so as to expose the fixed grooves; and an adhesive configured to fix the FPCB while covering the fixed holes and the fixed grooves. |
