The present invention relates to an LED array, a manufacturing method thereof, and an LCD using the same capable of reducing thickness and cost thereof. The LED array according to the present invention includes a metal PCB having a metal base, and a resin coated copper (RCC) pattern that has a second width narrower than a first width of the metal base and is formed on the metal base; an LED package that is mounted on the RCC pattern; a light diffusion lens that is mounted on the metal PCB to be located on the upper side of the LED package; and a reflection sheet that is formed on the metal PCB and includes an opening part to expose the LED package on the lower side of the light diffusion lens.
