A method for manufacturing a positive electrode for a manganese dry cell, the method including: a first step for mixing a mixture composition containing a first manganese dioxide regenerated from a used manganese dry cell and/or a used alkaline dry cell and a first carbon material regenerated together with the first manganese dioxide, an unused second carbon material, and an electrolytic solution, and preparing a positive electrode mixture; and a second step for molding the positive electrode mixture. The proportion Rsc of the second carbon material when 100 mass% represents the amount of the mixture composition is at least 1 mass%.
