RESOURCE INDEXING FOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SIGNAL IN RESPONSE TO RECEPTION OF MULTIPLE ASSIGNMENTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for at least partially solving, relaxing or preventing at least one of a problem and/or a defect relating to the prior art.SOLUTION: User Equipment (UE) transmits an acknowledgement signal in response to the reception of multiple scheduling assignments (SAs) transmitted by a base station. The scheduling assignments comprise information elements (IEs) including a transmission power control (TPC) IE providing adjustments for the transmission power of the acknowledgement signal. A transmission power control information element in a first scheduling assignment of the multiple scheduling assignments is used to provide the previous adjustments, and transmission power control information elements in the remaining of the multiple scheduling assignments are used to provide an indication of a resource used for the transmission of the acknowledgment signal.
