Portable furniture items including a support structure and a top member selectively coupled to the support structure. The support structure includes first and second supports. The first support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist has an upper end opposite the ground end and defines a first notch proximate the upper end. The second support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist of the second support has an upper end opposite the ground end and a lower end opposite the upper end and defines a second notch proximate the lower end. The first notch and the second notch are complimentarily configured to enable the second support to matingly couple with the first support.

1. A portable furniture item, comprising:
a first support including:
a leg having a ground end configured to contact the ground; anda waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end, the waist having an upper end opposite the ground end and defining a first notch proximate the upper end; a second support including:
a leg having a ground end configured to contact the ground; anda waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end, the waist having an upper end opposite the ground end and a lower end opposite the upper end, the waist of the second support defining a second notch proximate the lower end;wherein the first notch and the second notch are complimentarily configured to enable the second support to matingly couple with the first support to define a support structure, the support structure having the second support received in the first notch and the first support received in the second notch; and a top member selectively coupled to the support structure.
