The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an exterior case of a mobile device and to an exterior case for a mobile device manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing the exterior case for a mobile device in an embodiment is characterized by comprising the steps of: manufacturing a molded article including a combination protrusion of extended shape by closing complex layer in a preheated mold and pressing; and cutting the combination protrusion of extended shaped formed on the molded article, wherein the complex layer has a shape of having a fiber sheet soaked in a synthetic resin, and the mold has the combination protrusion of extended shape engraved.
